Take a good, hard look at the practice situation you are thinking of joining. Ask a lot of questions. Even if you think you have a good understanding of the opportunity, spend a little more time conducting research, especially if the situation is unique. If you are close with faculty at your training institution, ask them for assistance and guidance.
