“Tell me about yourself.”

During the interview (in person or on the telephone), be prepared to provide a one to two minute synopsis of who you are, focusing on those aspects related to the position. Describe why you became a physician, who influenced your decision, what you like about the profession, and how your experiences led you to become who you are today. However, keep your response concise and to the point. You may be passionate about saving the whales, but that shouldn’t be the primary feature of your response.
